About the project
An illustrated series of featured musicians, singers and performers in the Cultural Centre Barbican musical events of this year. Digital illustration for a speculative piece for The New Yorker magazine, celebrating the exceptional talent to be performing, and also used for as advertisement poster and merchandising products.

The objective of this speculative project is to capture the essence of this year’s musical journey from the Barbican for The New Yorker’s cultural section. Each piece is designed to reflect the energy and diversity of the performances. These visuals will not only enhance the storytelling but also invite audiences to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of music we’re celebrating.

Nigel Kennedy is an English violinist and Cleveland Watkiss is a multi-genre British vocalist.
